Materials
This is a non-exhaustive list of the materials and associated calls that exist within the hub system. Any special properties of the material are given in the descriptions. Items may be constructed from other materials which require specialist skills to produce, the system ref and plot ref will be able to evaluate ideas based on system combatability
For most characters and monsters elemental and material effects will have no additional effect, unless otherwise briefed the elemental section of a call can be ignored. The general lists of elements and materials are given in thier own section of the play rules.

Steel
Steel is the default material for all weapons and armour, As such no material call is associated with them. They are affected normally by all spells that target them
Wood
Wooden items make up the second catagory of standard weapons. Staves, bows, clubs, and parts of other weapons will be constructed from hardwood. An entirely wooden weapon will be immune to magnetic effects, however all other spells will affect them normally (rust waterlogs the item). They have no material call associated with them
Iron
Cold forged iron weapons and armour are similar to their steel counterparts, prone to rusting and generally more expensive. Any rust spell will affect even enchanted items made from this material, otherwise spells affect them normally. They have the optional call of 'Iron' that may be used
Bronze
Bronze weapons and armour are very much a style choice for most, the low demand for these means the price is higher than steel weapons. They are immune to any magnetic effects however have no material call associated with them
Smiths silver
Fabled for thier powers some creatures, weapons and armour made from smiths silver fetch premium prices. These items are affected normally by all spells and have the optional 'silver' material call that may be used.
Obsidian
Extremely hard weapons and armour may be crafted from Obsidian, though normally limited in size and type by the raw material. Due to the limitations of the crafting process the prices for these items is very high. They have no material call associated with them, and with the exception of shatter, which will affect even enchanted items of this type, are immune to all spells that target them
Magic
Weapons or armour created from pure magical energy will normally be temporary constructs, the special properties will be dependent on the creator. These items will however be immune to spells that target the item specifically, and may use the 'enchanted' material call.
